Just got back last night from Seattle's Emerald City Comic Con, my very first convention ever.  I have to say it was an awesome experience.  I got to meet my favorite artists, people i've been following since I picked up my first comic way back in the early 90's.  The portfolio reviews were great- it's always nice when someone is willing to be honest and tear apart your work- i mean, how else am I supposed to get better.  Watching the other artists drawing was mesmerizing.  It showed me that there are so many more steps to take before I can even consider myself mediocre.  So much more practice.  I'm up for it. -so say we all.
